Priti works as a Programme Associate with the CEEW Centre for Energy Finance. She has expertise in financial markets and instruments, data analytics and research writing. Currently, she is working in The Council’s Centre for Energy Finance with a focus on carbon market and climate finance. Priti is a finance and economics fanatic with the goal of addressing financial issues and challenges in the sustainability sector. Previously, she has worked in cKinetics Consulting, California Carbon division, as a Research Associate, where she worked on the carbon market in the North American region. She actively tracked and analysed the clean fuels market and the corresponding regulatory developments. In addition to publishing research articles, her key responsibilities included managing market relationships and modelling the carbon credit price and demand forecasts. Priti has also taught finance and statistical analysis to the undergraduate courses in Delhi Technological University and Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Business Studies.She completed her graduation from Sri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi and post-graduation from Department of Commerce, University of Delhi. She is pursuing a PhD in commodity futures market from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi.
