SECI’s tender for green hydrogen production witnessed significant market participation, showcasing enhanced market confidence due to encouraging developments in 2023. These include, first, the National Green Hydrogen Mission, with an outlay of INR 19,744 crore, which was approved in January 2023. Second was the introduction of incentive schemes for electrolyser manufacturing and green hydrogen production, which were announced in June 2023.
