MNRE launches scheme to incentivise production of green hydrogen

As a follow-up to the  National Green Hydrogen Mission, which has earmarked financial support for GH2, the MNRE has now announced incentives for a tranche of projects equating to a sizable 200,000 MTPA. These incentives, which will be disbursed through a competitive bidding process, are a part of the SIGHT component 2. Ultimately, the incentive amount aims to facilitate cost reduction and the establishment of a track record for future projects.
