Lekha Sridhar is a Programme Associate at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water. Her research areas are hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and climate policy.
Prior to joining CEEW, Lekha completed a year-long research project on public participation in renewable energy at the Independent Institute for Environmental Issues, Berlin, through the Alexander von Humboldt International Climate Protection Fellowship.
Lekha has been a practising lawyer in New Delhi with a focus on environmental law and regulation. As a lawyer with the Legal Initiative for Forest and Environment, she advised and represented clients before the National Green Tribunal, Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court of India.
She holds a BA LLB (Honours) degree from Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad, and a Masters in Public Policy from the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford.
