Poonam Nagar Koti is a Research Analyst at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water. Her research area consists of industrial and residential sector energy modeling, for which she actively uses the Global Change Assessment Model (GCAM) modeling framework.
Poonam previously worked as a summer intern at NABET, QCI, and was involved in the comparative analysis of public participation in EIA processes in developing countries, and in a project to improve public participation in decisions relating to development projects.
Poonam has a Bachelors degree in Life Sciences from Delhi University, and a B.Ed. as well as a postgraduate degree (Environment Management) from GGSIPU.
