Sarah Ashraf Research Analyst

Sarah Ashraf is a Research Analyst at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water. She is presently working on energy access issues, particularly the deployment and financing of solar water pumps. Sarah was previously a researcher at the RBI endowment unit, Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA).


Sarah did her Masters from the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune. During her Masters, she interned at the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research(IGIDR) and The National CSR Hub at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS).


Sarah was also formerly a Teach for India Campus Ambassador. She enjoys travelling, reading and the company of cats.
