CEEW participated at the Global Green Growth Summit 2012 in Seoul, Republic of Korea
10 May 2012

Arunabha Ghosh from CEEW spoke at a session co-organised by International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development, Global Green Growth Institute, the Peterson Institute for International Economics and the POSCO Research Institute, on a Sutainable Energy Trade Agreement (SETA) initiative at the Global Green Growth Summit 2012 scheduled at Lotte Hotel, Seoul, Republic of Korea.

His lecture was based on CEEW's new research on governing clean energy subsidies, which examines the rationales that motivate financing for renewables – energy access, job creation, industrial policy exports, etc. CEEW's upcoming report looks at these issues in more detail covering policies in Brazil, China, Germany, India, Spain, and the United States, and aims to explore the implications for global trade rules.
