CEEW on shaping the policy landscape at the Global Leadership and Technology Exchange in Berlin
19 Apr 2012

CEEW gave a talk on 'Shaping the Policy landscape' at the Global Leadership & Technology Exchange (GLTE) on 19 April in Berlin, focusing on the incentives needed to drive collaboration between government, business and civil society for a resource-efficient economy to flourish. Dr Arunabha Ghosh from CEEW shed light on how to offer incentives for policymakers, drawing on CEEW's work at all levels of governance: regional (Maharashtra-Guangdong partnership on sustainability); national (India and global governance; national water resources framework); creating innovations in markets (India-US Joint Clean Energy R&D Centre; National Solar Mission); and provincial and local (minor irrigation reform in Bihar; integrated energy, environment and water plans).
