Report on Global Governance submitted to the National Security Adviser
20 Dec 2011

CEEW today submitted a report to the National Security Adviser, Mr. Shiv Shankar Menon. The report articulates what India’s role and national interests regarding global governance are and aims to develop a strategy to make trade-offs across multiple concerns from money and finance to international trade and investment, from climate change to energy, from nuclear non-proliferation to peace and security, from maritime governance and outer space to cyber security, and from the UN Security Council to the G20 and other institutions.
This report is an initiative of CEEW and a product of research and focused discussions between India’s foremost diplomats and policy experts who have voluntarily accepted to become a part of the Working Group on India and Global Governance.
