CEEW and Embassy of France in India Co-Host Roundtable on Energy Storage Collaborations
20 Nov 2015

The Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) and the Embassy of France in India jointly hosted a roundtable discussion on energy storage technologies and the possibilities for collaboration between India and France in this emerging area on 20 November in New Delhi.

The discussion focused on three key areas: France’s advancements in the field of energy storage and the role of energy storage; India’s need for energy storage for integrating renewable energy in to the grid; and the possibility of technology partnerships that would position India as a climate leader and prepare the domestic energy system for the integration of a large renewable energy base.

French Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Development, H.E. Laurent Fabius, addressed the concluding session of the roundtable.
