In Press: Arunabha Ghosh and Hem Dholakia's Column on 'Competitive Pollutionism No Good' in Business Standard

CEEW CEO Dr Arunabha Ghosh and CEEW Research Associate Dr Hem Himanshu Dholakia published a joint column 'Competitive Pollutionism No Good' in the Business Standard on 17 March 2015. The column dwells on the pollution in the cities of Delhi and Beijing and emphasises that to focus on which city faces more pollution between the two is unworthy.

The column also highlights India-specific solutions for tackling air pollution such as better monitoring, comprehensive transport planning, better means of garbage disposal and mandation of high efficiency de-dusters for thermal power plants.
