Press Room: CEO Dr Arunabha Ghosh's Ideas for Propelling the RE Sector in Energy Next Magazine
21 May 2014

As part of Energy Next magazine’s cover story ‘New Government, New Hope’, Dr Ghosh stated his expectations for the RE sector from the new government. He said,“It is imperative that the new government lays a strong focus on increasing the share of renewable energy in India’s electricity mix and on stimulating the decentralised clean energy market.”

“The share of renewables in the country can be increased by having policy certainty with appropriate budgetary support, creating a supportive enabling environment, building synergies between ministries, ensuring transparency and timely information dissemination, and continued action to engender confidence among domestic and international financiers to finance renewable projects, particularly wind and solar,” added Dr Ghosh.
