CEEW hosts a Roundtable discussion on Urban Water Management

CEEW in collaboration with Veolia Water India hosted the first CEEW-Veolia Roundtable discussion today, one of a series of six roundtables on Urban Water Management that they will jointly organise. This Roundtable focused on water utility management in urban localities in India. As representatives from different stakeholder groups operating in this sector were present, the platform for a constructive discussion was set wherein areas of critical concern were explored, opportunities to scale positive interventions were revealed, and needs for further research and information were identified. Ms Debashree Mukherjee, CEO of Delhi Jal Board presented real challenges which are faced while trying to effectively manage urban water resources and thereby set the tone for an engaging conversation.
