Energy Next publishes CEEW's views on progress of India's National Solar Mission.

Dr Arunabha Ghosh from CEEW discussed his views on the progress of Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar mission with Energy Next.

In a report that was submitted to the Ministry for New and Renwable Energy (MNRE), CEEW in collaboration with the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) analysed the building blocks needed for a robust and successful grid-connected solar programme in India namely project selection, project commissioning, financial viability, manufacturing policy, technology choices, and the ease of doing business. Based on this research, Dr Ghosh, in his interview with Energy Next highlighted the priority areas where attention must be paid in order to catalyse the solar industry from 2013 onwards.
