New factsheet on recommended action at the Rio+20

In its factsheet , India at Rio+20: Putting Commitments into Action , which was published a week ahead of the Rio+20 Conference, the Council on Energy, Environment and Water, along with the National Resources Defense Council (NRDC) recommends practical actions aligned with India’s priorities that India can take to show environmental leadership in committments during the Summit and their implementation afterward. Based on its research on several cross-cutting issues like climate change & clean energy, and water management & agriculture, it proposes focused interventions at all levels - national, state and local - to integrate India's sustainability objectives with its economic growth.
