CEEW gave evidence and insights on the plight of existing data gaps in water measurement and monitoring in India at a workshop organised by the World Business Council on Sustainable Development on "Managing water risk - India Water Tool Scoping Workshop" on May 30. During the workshop, CEEW addressed heads of the environment portfolios from approximately 20 water-intensive sector companies. Based on the research CEEW conducted to produce the National Water Resources Framework Study, CEEW advocates strengthening of infrastructure for monitoring, measuring, analysing and sharing hydrological data for better water governance of India's water resources.
