Krishna Khanna

Programme Associate

Krishna is a Programme Associate with the mobility team at The Council. His work focuses on the promotion of public transport and on designing newer methodologies of utilising mobility data, through which he aims to contribute to the ever-evolving discourse of urbanism and sustainable cities.

Prior to joining The Council, Krishna worked as an architectural consultant on projects of various scales – including retrofitting and site services designing. He has also interned with the smart city company of Kalyan Dombivli, working on the upcoming multimodal hub at the Kalyan station precinct. Through this engagement, he developed an academic study to introduce last mile connectivity to the city-suburban railway network using bicycles. The study analysed infrastructural, institutional and individual stakeholder perspectives for a city-wide bike plan.

As an experienced architect, licensed under The Council of Architecture, Krishna holds a M.Tech Urban Development Management from the TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi. He likes to experiment with watercolours and acrylics, and also prefers to read and binge-watch series.
