Divyanshu Saini is a Consultant in the Clean Air team at The Council, stationed at Varanasi. Holding a PhD from NIT Nagpur, Divyanshu specialises in the analysis and prediction of ambient air quality parameters in urban cities of India.

Divyanshu holds a master's in Environmental Engineering and a bachelor's in Civil Engineering showing his expertise in both, meteorological parameters and building and construction.

Before joining CEEW, he worked with the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board. By monitoring manual monitoring stations in Nagpur, he contributed to collecting vital data that informs air quality management strategies. His major accomplishments from the project include his work on a comprehensive life cycle assessment of solid waste management in Nagpur city.

Through his research, collaborations, and practical projects, he continues to make significant contributions to air quality management, environmental engineering, and sustainable urban development.

Outside of his professional engagements he likes to travel and do volunteer work. He is enthusiastic about history, new technologies, and meditation.
