Aryadipta is an Engagement Lead in the Energy Transitions team at The Council and is currently based out of Ranchi, Jharkhand. He is providing support to the Jharkhand government in the implementation of the state Solar Policy, 2022.

Aryadipta has more than a decade's experience in the power and energy sector and has extensively worked in both conventional and renewable energy sectors. His core area of expertise is business strategy, market research, policy research, and advocacy.

Aryadipta has earlier worked with PwC, E&Y LLP, Adani Power, FICCI, and SNP Infra Research in various capacities, engaging in various assignments related to the Power and Energy sector. He has also worked with many state-level and multilateral agencies on delivering assignments related to renewable energy.

He graduated with a bachelor’s in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and master’s in Power Management. Outside of work, he is a sports enthusiast and loves following cricket, F1, tennis, and football. He is an avid reader and loves reading articles and reports related to technology, innovation, autobiographies of eminent personalities, sports, and history.
